Porous NiMoO4-NrGO as a Battery-Like Electrode Material for Aqueous Hybrid Supercapacitors

Recently, much research has investigated nanocomposites and their properties for the development of energy storage systems. Supercapacitor performance is usually enhanced by use porous electrode structures, which produce a larger surface area reaction. In this work, biocompatible polymer starch medium was used to create nanostructure. Two powders, i.e., Nickel molybdate/reduced graphene oxide (NiMoO4-rGO) molybdate/nitrogen-doped reduced (NiMoO4-NrGO), were synthesized using deposition method in containing starch, nickel nitrate salts, sodium molybdate, powder. terms electrochemical performance, NiMoO4-NrGO displayed higher specific capacitance, 932 Fg−1 (466 Cg−1), than NiMoO4-rGO electrode, 884 (442 at current density 1 Ag−1. fact, sheets could lose more oxygen groups presence ammonia, resulting increased electrical conductivity. For asymmetric supercapacitor NiMoO4-NrGO//AC, capacitance Ag−1, density, power 101.2 (111.32 17 Wh kg−1, 174.4 kW respectively. addition, material good cycling stability over 82%.
